Yes! I knew, luckily, that both SFHS and WSFH had uploaded early programs. It might not be the definitive answer since SFHS is missing some!

This one from @thewsfh.bsky.social was maybe the first panel on women's history at a French history conf. (@sfhs.bsky.social is missing some programs so I can't be certain) - but big ups to @jonathynebriggs.bsky.social or @tgpeterson.bsky.social or whoever put almost all the WSFH ones online!)

Here are two of my pieces about her that are in open access that talk about this moment when women began to be recognized as scientists in the 1780s (not a typo) & men told other men not to be sexist pigs! quod.lib.umich.edu/w/wsfh/06422...

Just realised that when I see mention of "Bove" my mind is going subconsciously to driving-a-tractor-into-McDonalds guy, which is so offbase...

My work on her was interrupted for a while by other projects, but it's good I didn't throw this all out before I finally published this. I don't need it now though, I think?!

Wait wait… I realized this is actually a very special gathering, awesome regional state profs who have ALSO been WSFH secretary at some point in their career. 😆🙌

Love to see this @profchander.bsky.social! How people reconciled monogenesis with ideas of cultural/natural superiority was 👀. Check out my discussion of Marie Le Masson Le Golft's map (Esquisse d'un tableau général du genre humain) if it's helpful! quod.lib.umich.edu/w/wsfh/06422...

Hobbies? What are those? It's lovely. I'm still waiting on my Terry-produced WSFH swag.

I don't think Robert Paxton feels he needs any cultural loyalty to France, nor historians of the Nazis to Germany - so knock yourself out, Terrence! (unless you made Francophilia a WSFH membership requirement since I last checked? 😄 But, indeed, the food and wine are delicious!)

This looks like a case of "because we can". They're demonstrating their authority. Workers are getting uppity.

I think WSFH is workable for many. Me included. I work evenings and weekends frequently, because IT, minimize client impact.
