This too. So fewer burgers would help your heart then no bruising? Aim to eat a diet that includes plenty of fruit and veg, wholegrains, fat-free or low-fat dairy products and lean proteins. It's a good idea to cut down on salt, too. Aim for no more than 6g of salt a day.

I gave my chia seeds away in the end. There's not much you can do with them in ordinary cooking, and I'm saying that as a vegan.

It's much easier to get fibre the usual way from grains, pulses, fruit and veg. Wholegrains are especially important (and I'm now saying this as a diabetic!).

I follow Nigella's ideas around food.

Also my dad was healthy weight, he ate so much fruit and veg and wholegrains. He was the fittest person I know. He was dead at 68 from dementia. Autopsy found heart disease. If that's what I got instore? I'm frying things in butter and enjoying my life.

Like I said, a balanced diet.

Wholegrains, pulses, nuts, seeds, fruit & vegetables. Not relying on sodas & gummies.

I eat a lot of salads and I still have some carbs, but try to make sure they're complex carbs, like wholegrains. I still have fruit, which I'm not sure you can have on keto, due to the sugars. I feel okay on it tbh, I feel noticeably worse if I eat junk now.
