as someone who is still new to webmastering and 100% understands how time consuming it is to make your own site, i feel like folks should take a stab at it.
learning how to do something new is good for both the soul and brain. and it dusts off those doomscrolling spider webs.

Im webmastering an Indivisible site as a favor to a friend. On the one hand, it is a great tool for their local organizing and a good way for me, as an introvert, to contribute to the resistance.

Indie artists are functionally expected to do EVERYTHING. Like just because I like to play music doesn't mean I know how to produce, record, shoot and edit video, know basic webmastering skills and SEO, etc., but if I can't do all that other stuff, how do you ever hear my music?

My boss when I was webmastering would write code when necessary or play pizza girl--whatever it took to keep the team moving forward as crunch time hit. Best and craziest boss I ever had.

i've taken on webmastering as a hobby these past couple of months and mid-30s me experiences a thrill every time i think back to 10 year old me reading their first fics on people's personal angelfire sites back in 1999.
