Finished shawl is arranged in a scrunched up spiral against a white background. The colours are a bright cheerful progression from purple to pink to red to yellow and then jumps to a bright green lace border The shawl still needs to be blocked. This process of washing and spreading out the shawl flat to dry will smooth out the fabric and open up the lace. Still working in the lace 💚 I have 10g of green yarn left so I’m going to risk a few more rows of lace 🧶🐓 we will all find out if that was a sensible decision in a bit 😂🤔

My lace has been started 💚💚💚

I didnt have to do mathematical adjustments to do the lace. I just found the row that worked for my number of stitches & went with it 😍

A shawl thats being knit is laying against a white background. At the end of the garter & need to start making decisions about the lace.

36g of the green yarn left so i should get about 24 rows of lace + set up & need some to cast off 🧶

Almost completed shawl, a tiny scrap of light yellow yarn + a green ball of yarn The little scrap of yarn might make one more row or it might run out so Im not sure i want to play yarn chicken with it. My oversized, no stripes, #vestigesshawl is getting pretty large. I have spiralled it so we can see all the colours with the balls of yarn still to be added 💛💚 🧶 I cant wait for the green lace 💚🥰

I did some serious tv watching yesterday & knit garter stitch rows. Ive made more progress than I expected but its such a delight seeing each colour join 🧶

Ive made a start on my no stripes version of the #vestigesshawl I might end up with a slightly larger garter stitch section before i start the lace but I’ll work that out once i get there 🧶
