I ported over awesome_game.py from the tufty2040 examples to the Presto today. I will probably do a PR later to the repo for examples on how to load sprites with MicroPython

You can cycle between these + images of my fursona. Button A turns on a 30s slideshow mode as well to automatically cycle while I'm wandering the con.

that is a great idea! and same for Tufty2040, it also has pads. what header is that, though? the pads are SMD but with a standard pitch, how did you do it?

Turns out the Display Pack 2.8 and Tufty2040's displays are mostly compatible... Now I just need an 8-bit display pack. 🤔

If I can solve this, I can get a nice scrolling parallax hills effect on my Tufty2040 -- giving the feeling of an observer looking at vast landscapes from a train window.

I am not a programmer but I did take the original Python badge code for the tufty2040 and run with it. I still need to upload my latest commit but you can find the code and details on GitHub. github.com/vorell/tufty...
