Because it's a popular desert served on a lot of occasions, the fact I'm not into cake comes up surprisingly often.
So it's always a little disheartening when, despite this, people get me cake for my birthday.
I appreciate the thought, but don't feel particularly considered for my own birthday.

I feel the rage in this post and the only way I manage it is though ad block, sponsor block and piracy (indie content excluded).
Ads are bad for your brain, and being nickel and dimed for things you used to be able to buy once and own means you pay significantly more for less.

Like, I didn't just not like it, it was one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had vs public opinion.
