5/5: Ohhh wow. Wow wow wow. I loved the worldbuilding and the creeping sense of horror and the swamp and the algae… *shivers* I loved the found family feels and how Noon’s past slowly unwound. Her relationship with her mother is thorny and stormy, her mother trying to keep a hold of something Noon no longer is and Noon trying to figure out who (and what) she actually is, and interwoven are the stories and legends they brought from their old homeland.
