Theurgists teach that in honoring and praying to our heroes we can attain a Self of perfect joy and power. We seek their help for spiritual and moral guidance.

May his memory be a blessing and the justice he inspires sweep the world with life and purifying fire.

Thinking about how identity is sometimes fluid and flexible with spirits. It's a common practice for theurgists and witches to invoke Divine powers, essentially *becoming* an avatar of that entity for the duration of the ritual. I think spirits/Gods also invoke one another in a similar manner.

Today is Dichomenia, the day Theurgists celebrate heroes.

One of my heroes is Simone Weil, whom Albert Camus called "the only great spirit of our time."

That picture is very interesting. It depicts Hekate in a way that only the Chadlean theurgists depicted her. Proclus talks about that depiction with the animal heads. But no statues exist. So the occult knowledge somehow survived into the Medieval era.

There's a sense in which Lucifer is the one whose name is not the name of a deity named Helel, Shahar, or even Phosphoros but rather represents the pagan promise of human continuity with the gods, not just for kings but for magicians, mystagogues, sorcerers, theurgists, the individual as such.

Today Theurgists celebrate Noumenia. We commemorate the victory of Light over Darkness. As part of this rite, I venerate the god Christos and the prophet-sorcerer, Yeshua, who brought the sword of spiritual warfare. May light fill your days with love and may justice fill your soul with peace.

Today, Theurgists celebrate Hene, when we reflect on personal mortality. We honor the gods Pluton and Dionysus, as we meditate on the progress of the soul from multiplicity to Oneness. At this time, we also commune with our guardian angels. We die to ourselves to see the unity of all things.

Disappointing. I am not sure a higher proportion of theurgists are anti vax compared to the general population, but we feel it more intimately I suppose, as it is a more intimate community.

In Theurgy, you do not need to pay for spiritual guidance. The gods guide you.

There are communities of theurgists online. The texts cost, but that repays you in several ways: improving your mind and your soul.

Once theurgists begin having home churches we will share resources.

Theurgists teach what you can learn on your own.

Be inquisitive, be fearless, accept no compromises.

Nothing is beyond your potential.

Today, Theurgists celebrate Athena, goddess of ethical reason and warrior against evil. She brings light to the mind lost in darkness, leading the soul to determine right from wrong, good from evil. She is a most cherished emanation of Hekate-Rhea. Holy goddess, bless me with your illumination.

In the Abrahamic tradition, a woman and a snake represent temptation and evil. For Chaldean Theurgists, the snake is a symbol of wisdom and sanity - bodily and spiritually. The first photo is from A.J. Hamilton, Lilith And The Serpent. The second is a statue of Hekate recently discovered.

Today is day 2 of Epistrophe, reversion to the One. Theurgists also celebrate Noumenia, feast of the New Moon. On this day, I worship the Christos, demiurge of time and history. Magus who brings the sword to free the captives, heal the sick in body and soul, and unify hearts rent by hate and love.

Today, tomorrow, and Monday Theurgists observe the hieromenia of Epistrophe, cyclic reversion. We pray to Dionysus as god of death, transfiguration, and reincarnation. We take stock of our time for the year and seek spiritual restoration in our true source and end, the Transcendent Fire

mystery. Jews made up almost half the population of late Antiquity Alexandria, so it’s possible they acquired the notions there, either through interaction with theurgists or as members of the Platonic Academy there.

65. Julian considered all traditional pagan religions as equally legitimate because they originate through divine revelation through oracles & prophets (i.e. theurgists) in deepest antiquity. Therefore Judaism, as it was practiced when the Temple still stood, was just as legitimate in his eyes.

Today, Theurgists celebrate the guardian daemon. "The personal daemon does not guide just one or another part of our being, but all of them at once, and it extends to the whole administration of us, even as it has been allotted to us from all the regions of the universe." - Iamblichus
