Back of head tattoo advice
Hello, so as someone dealing with alopecia specifically one that is targeting hair on the back of my head and nape of neck I’ve decided to go forward with tattooing the area. I wanted to see peoples opinions and experiences if they’ve dealt with something similar and what to expect pain level wise. Just as a side note I am someone who already has a lot of work done on them already ( stomach,chest,sleeves,hands,neck and a few on a leg) I’ll also attach the inspo for the tattoo I’m looking to do. Need ideas for a cover up
hey yall, so i did this tattoo on myself when i was 18 (i know i know it was stupid) and my tattoo artist told me that she wanted to look at it in person to see if she can like redo it. she said it was blown out so i’m honestly thinking that i’m going to need to cover it up. i can’t find anything anywhere that’s not like sparklers or whatever. does anyone have any ideas???? please don’t come for me for tattooing my face lol. i know it was dumb and irresponsible. thank you <3. How do fineline tattoos age? Here are some of my works 2-7years healed (with no touch up). BUT: a nice fineline FRESH TATTOO =/= a nice healed effect. \- „fineline” tattoos CAN fade or even disappear IF DONE TOO SHALLOW \- „fineline” tattoos can blow out and look like a 7RL tattoo after healing IF DONE TOO DEEP \- “fineline” tattoos can heal in various ways (even if they look good when fresh) - two tattoos by different artists can look completely different when healed, even if they look comparable right after the procedure. THE KEY IS SIMPLY A PROPER TECHNIQUE, WHICH FOCUSES ON THE HEALED EFFECT and is done with the proper depth, needle, and ink choice. It also needs to vary depending on body placement. As someone who’s been doing fineline tattoos for 8 years (and tattooing for more than 12), I know today that the right healed effect of fineline work can be achieved with EXPERIENCE, PATIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE 🥰 Choose your artist wisely! 🫶🏻. My back is somewhat more interesting to look at than it was this time last year. Five full-day sessions with an artist who continues to amaze me with his talent even after he's been tattooing me for a decade.

I asked for a Grim Reaper... but with as much colour as possible. He absolutely nailed it.

Cover up ideas
An ex girlfriend did the initial tattoo a poke and stick. My sister a tattoo artists when she was finishing up her apprenticeship was tattooing the rose above she asked if I would like for her to go over the adrenaline lines. She did so now it looks half decent. Except I’m married to another woman and she does not like that I have this and wants me to cover it up. Do y’all have any cover up ideas?
