that's good to hear ! We just did a little piece with Ballydangan Bog and Pat Feehily about the increase in curlew there since bog conservation work began - as he and David Fallon were sharing the story with local school children in an art bog project under #TócharStories

Eugene Dunbar in Tyrrellspass, Westmeath is a force for nature! We've been working with him all year as part of #TócharStories and he mentored the local primary school for our art-bog project. Next week we take the children to the National Museum to see the bog treasures #LoveBogs

How lovely is this, when Ewa, 2nd class, sees her painting of the Dingy Butterfly in the children's nature, bog butterflies and art exhibition, Kilteevan, Roscommon and proudly poses before it. #TócharStories #bogs #butterflies ( it's her shoulder shrug that does it!)

We'd a wonderful time this past week in #Kilteevan, Roscommon working with the National School on a butterfly/bog and creative art project - where the children aged 8-13 got to know more about their local bog Cloonlarge Bog, and the butterflies there and created their own artwork
