I know a fella who wore a polo-neck in Tipperary around 2007 and has been called 'Westlife' ever since.

A place so desolate and terrible Tipperary people named it after Limerick
This was sent to me and captures Limerick Junction perfectly - bucketing down and the rain to Cork is late. #Speirgorm

🎵 It's a long way... to Tipperary... 🎵

GAH :D

Just the best that folks had The Movie™️ as their first MST3K viewing experience.

And that's the fun of it, no? IT'S SO ENDLESSLY QUOTABLE!
"Breach Hull, All Die" Even had it underlined!

I watched the MST3K movie so many times I can probably recite it line by line. It was my first too

A small 12th century church and a 15th-century castle at Kilcash, Tipperary.

This historic landscape is perhaps best known for the Caoineadh Cill Cáis [The Keening of Kilcash], a famous lament.

Out for a walk on Saturday and remembered a time when my friends from Tipperary that I lived with in Cardiff, came to visit. I was driving past this view on the way to lunch and they roared “STOPPP! How the hell did you not tell us that THIS is where you live?!!!”

They brought that in here in Tipperary just in time for our first. Such a lovely, simple idea that made you feel like the state actually welcomes their new little citizens

Remember one incident where the soldier asked my Dad where he was coming from, we were from Tipperary. Soldier with gun in hand, says, that’s a long way. Dad was ready to go into orbit, brother touched dad’s arm and quietly said, “ignore”.

1 / Now that Sandwich Guy has been acquitted, time for me to roll out these song lyrics sung to It's A Long Way To Tipperary...

So grab a pint down at the bar & have a sandwich throwing contest.

Or not bc ot would suck to waste food with so many going without.

Rather, buy some folks a sandwich.

These are a bad combination. Hail showers, especially more severe ones with larger hailstones, can devastate apple crops in minutes. Luckily our harvest is finished now, so the hail shower that struck today could do no damage.
