also for the record i think the only 2 40k armies that can technically run a legal 2k point list with nothing but flamers are space marines and thousand sons

#hobbystreak 176. Metallics started on the Stompa. I also snapped the shoulder mounted weapon off. Whoops. I also did a bit of work on some minis for D&D and my Secret Santa mini.

#hobbystreak 172 and 173. I've primed and begun drybrushing a unit of Ork Stormboyz and a Stompa. I haven't been feeling well so that is about all I felt up to doing. Still, the army needs painting. I may as well get something done.

After cutting a ton of plastic to clad his belly, I remembered styrofoam. The old ways are still the best ways.

Orktober is coming to an end, but the Stompa is nearly done. Needs some final detailing but most of everything has colour on it and the rust is basically done here.

Correction: I got my wires crossed, I have played against this guy before. It was the Rebel Grot guy! He was trying out a stompa today, and graciously forewarned me. This made for a much closer game, but I still claimed an #orktober victory.

Orktober rumbles on and the stompa build is complete! I've replaced the chainsaw with a circular saw, added a belly gun, extended the gun arm, replaced the jaw and shoulder turret.
