#HobbyStreak 250! I have added tiny mushrooms to the bases of my Escher gang and primed both Necromunda gangs in a two tone style. I think I'm going to approach painting these as individual characters (one at a time) rather than as a batch. We shall see how that goes...

#HobbyStreak 246, 247 and 248. Escher gang roster finished and models assembled, Goliath gang fully assembled, a little bit more work on the Dreadball team, a few bits on the D&D stuff and some more adventure writing for my D&D campaign. Pretty busy really.

#HobbyStreak 244 and 245. I've finalised the roster for my Necromunda Goliath gang. I've also built my Forge Tyrant to lead the gang. The power axe is built from the power hammer in the Goliath kit and an ork power choppa. I still need to drill the barrels on his gun.

#HobbyStreak 242 and 243. I haven't had much time or energy for hobbying. I have however written and rewritten my gang rosters. I've nearly finalised them. I did however manage to get my Vikings primed ready for painting!

It's my birthday! I got a nice new project as presents. Looking forward to diving into #Necromunda properly soon. I have the additional weapon sets on order too. Any tips on building and/or playing with these two gangs would be greatly appreciated.

#HobbyStreak 239 and 240. Last night I played a bunch of boardgames with some friends and today I decided to start giving my Marauder team for Dreadball a bit of an update ready for them to hit the table at a tournament in two weeks time.

#HobbyStreak 236 and 237. Base texture has been applied to all of the Vikings. I've also done quite a bit of work on the D&D project. I've also done a little bit of painting on some old terrain to start freshening it up.

Here is a slightly niche question for the #wargaming community. What is the best tabletop wargame solo experience? I'm determined to play more games, even if it means I have to play on my own.

A good friend of mine gave me an early birthday present today. Some amethyst gem polydice and a copy of Digganob! I'm really keen to play some Gorkamorka now.

#HobbyStreak 234. I used Milliput to blend the bases on the Vikings. Once it has cured, I will add the base texture ready for them to be primed. Unfortunately the priming will have to wait until I get the right colour spray paint next week.

#HobbyStreak 233. Vikings are glued to their bases and I have added some extra pouches, knives and scabbards. I'll blend the bases tomorrow with some Milliput. I need to plan how I'm going to paint them too.

I sat down to work out how big my Viking force for Pillage actually is. Comes to 1115gp. I'm happy with that. Plenty of options when playing smaller games and enough to construct two opposing forces while I wait to get another faction. I'm tempted to build a Welsh force for my wife to use.

#HobbyStreak 232. Finished building my Vikings. A good mix of weapon options to fill out the force. Just waiting for bases to arrive before I get them ready for priming. I will be adding pouches, knives and other trinkets before then though.

My son and I played through the Bolt Action Starter Set today. It was great fun. Jonah is very keen to expand the armies and play it some more. I have to say, the starter set missions are brilliant. They walk you through the games mechanics with each mission adding new stuff. I highly recommend it.

First hobby session of the year was building some slingers and archers for my Viking warband for Pillage.

#HobbyStreak 229 and 230. I painted some more of the D&D minis and I have made a start on building my Vikings for Pillage. I've also been reading the rules for Pillage and doing some world building and adventure design for my D&D campaign when that starts back up.

#HobbyStreak 228. The rest of the Bolt Action Starter Set is built and everything is primed for painting. My son and I also played a game of Gaslands this afternoon. I lost after having one car blown to pieces and the other smacking into some rocks. It was great fun.

#HobbyStreak 227. My son got the Bolt Action Starter Set from us for Xmas, and he asked if I would put it together for him. So I did. Still got 3 US Marines and 5 German Grenadiers to do but I have everything we need to play the first 5 Missions from the set. Might get the rest built in the morning.
