Yeah, I found out from a tweet by stltoday that they were closing and I was losing my job. They really screwed up ownership of that hospital. The stories I could tell about how they steadily moved services from DP to Chesterfield and then complained DP was losing money. A total cluster.

Just wanted to tell you, @dgoold.bsky.social, how much I enjoyed your StlToday piece on Butch Yatkeman. He was the only clubhouse guy I knew as a fan beginning in the 60’s. The long run the Cardinals have had with the Gieselman’s, C.J. Cherre’s, Ernie Hayes, etc., people who make the franchise.

"The six-year contract will pay an average of $10.75 million per year, for a total of $64.5 million."

Not one mention of a buyout number in the STLToday piece.

I think he should've left but the heart wants whatever it wants.

Woke up two pieces on STLToday: one about Fistpump McRunpants and this about the Cardinals.

The comments for the latter stand at 10. Gonna get beyond spicy.

Really enjoyed your STLToday coverage of last night's game (STL 4 @ CIN 2 8/30/25) but specifically pertaining to the Walker IFR craziness:
"The Reds - stumped for a minute at the activity on the bases - recovered in time to throw the ball around until they found an out"

I know this is super out of your control, but I got my first "join ***, protect the homeland" digital ad on STLtoday today. 😩 Hopefully my ad preference changes keep that from happening again!

@Holberg @jalefkowit I love it. But I was somewhat disappointed to learn that Gaynor herself apparently disliked it due to the use of profanity: https://archive.ph/20080504201527/http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/entertainment/stories.nsf/music/story/E91C22DD527945C4862573ED007A7C69?OpenDocument

The fact you’re even hosting syndicated articles like this is the issue, not posting it to socials.

The article is demonstrably false, lacks citations, and is plainly biased as it came from a GOP think tank.

Having this article under the StLToday banner does nothing but hurt your credibility.
