Journalist Gabriel Sherman delves in this juicy melodrama into the caustic, decades-long family feud over the inheritance of Rupert Murdoch’s media empire. Readers will be riveted by this merciless battle for dynastic dominance. @simonschuster buff.ly/3QtZ6Ge

★ This sweeping tale from Jean-Baptiste Andrea comprises a dying artist’s account of how he came to make his mysterious sculpture of the Virgin Mary mourning the crucified Jesus, which is kept shrouded in the vaults of a cliffside Italian monastery. It’s a marvel. @simonschuster buff.ly/wXAYAb9

Alex Marks is living alone in the bustling metropolis that is New York. She is insecure and has always lacked self-esteem. To help with her anxieties, she finds that repetitive behaviour soothes her somewhat. In other words... she is borderline OCD.  When she was younger, she poured her heart out to the renowned advice columnist, Francis Keen, who helped her cope.

Anyone who is interested in Irish history, particularly from a woman's point of view, will adore this novel.  "The Women On Platform Two" puts an all too human face to the women's liberation movement with authentic, endearing, and multi-dimensional characters that will stay with you long after the final page is turned. In present day Dublin, Saoirse and her partner have a huge falling out.

Filmmaker Abel Ferrara tells his #story of rising to cinematic fame while battling drug addiction. I found the raw, unvarnished street gangster narration hard to read but enjoyed Ferrara’s humility.

Narrators:  Danielle Savre, Alicia Crowder, Dan Bittner, Matt Godfrey & Janina Edwards My first thought about this twisty thriller is that the protagonist, Jenna, is quite probably one of the most insecure characters I've ever read about. Due to a childhood trauma, in which her father abandoned their family, Jenna has never learned to be content, or to trust another person.
