Hmmmm. Depends strongly on budget. I feel like my sweat is like acid to most headphone cushions, but every Sennheiser headphones I've ever worn have stood up really well (all two of them, lol). They are pricy though... and I'm not sure if they do head*sets* anymore, if the attached mic is needed.

They are closer to reference style headphones. Great soundstage, clarity, and solid bass (Not so much for rap but songs that have a lot of bass guitar) for open backs. The others that I occasionally use are the Sennheiser HD 800, which are reference headphones. Incredible soundstage and clarity.
