No, it's not good how people are being treated with Seaquestria. And regardless of anything, I hope that is also fixed.
But it's the same as people standing up for Kimmel versus standing against Genocide. It's not that standing for Kimmel is wrong, but where is that care for actual atrocities?

After reading this, I do get a better understanding of the Seaquestria issue, and I agree it's a real problem. But it does bother me how people who support and/or don't care enough to condemn Mare Fair now expect more personal issues to be something everyone rallies behind.

I don't know if Seaquestria had valid problems or not.
But you vended Mare Fair. I can't imagine any problems Seaquestria had being even a fraction of MF's.
It makes me doubt your unspecific claims when you were fine with the nazi convention.

I am really disappointed that all it took for this con (Seaquestria Fest) to bite the dust was an inexperienced con chair who had absolutely no clue how to run a con and decided to go on a power trip, refused to step down, and booted the dissenters from the SQF Discord server. Unreal.

When more than HALF OF YOUR STAFF leaves in one single day, you know you’ve made a mess of things.
Every single staff member that quit yesterday was hurt and Fandom (the con chair) couldn’t even be bothered to show up to a call to make amends and try and help this con continue.

Seaquestria had all of art staff, tech ops and a lot of other staff quit due to the con chairs horrible mishandling of the con, treatment of staff and 0 accountability for anything. We had two petitions asking for his removal otherwise we would all leave and he refused.
