What are you picturing "micro" sattelites can do compared to 10,000 sq ft of hard wired centrebrain? Lose a calulation race. Thats what they will do lmfao. You want to split all the rigs in a data center. And make them communicate wirelessly. They will cost more and underperform.

The same rockets that sent parts up for iss were launched on things like a soyuz. We absolutely have that still. Modern rockets have only improved. And while small sattelites could be cooled somewhat easier. They would never function at the speed of hard wired centers. And would cost 10x more.

Space should be a public works only region. Comms, GPS, and other sattelites should become public property. And no corporation or person can own anything in space. (save for small personal craft in the far future)
