First, let’s backtrack a little to September when I was part of a small team that took part in the “Rig to Reef” project at Alford Academy.

⚠️ 1/3 Today a deceased 8m adult Minke Whale washed up on Balmedie Beach.
Sadly it was heavily entangled in rope, it’s state of decomposition meant that a necropsy couldn’t be undertaken.
