Postgame quicktake: The Dallas Stars will pass the Thanksgiving cutoff test, which is good. It's all the small tests needed to be aced (not playing from behind, and generating offense at EV, for example) for a successful final exam that has me slightly concerned.

Postgame quicktake: At even strength, the Dallas Stars are a -144 in shot attempt plus/minus. That's worse than the San Jose Sharks, who are a -123. It's nice to see special teams steal you points, but stealing is not a good Plan A.

Loved my Newton. They were way better than people were led to believe by yesteryear's equivalent of snarky memes.

But nobody noticed the QuickTake camera! One of the very first digital cameras in the consumer market, with excellent optics.

But I'm really lusting for those AppleDesign speakers...
