All the driver and graphical issues I was having with VMs were due to the VMs not the OS.
I got OBS recording both camera and display, Minecraft to run with shaders, python running in the FOSS version of VScode, qbittorrent, Firefox synced up, steam logged in, and blender running with xero effort

I really don't know much about trying to run bittorrent clients in containers but I would assume you are missing some port forwarding here or the nixos-firewall is catching you.
How did you install qbittorrent? What port forwarding have you defined for the container?

Jellyfin, Plex, qBittorrent, Audiobook Shelf, HomeAssistant, Frigate, Vaultwarden, Immich, Grocy, Nextcloud, etc, etc. Ce que tu trouves sur Dockers mais avec un vernis plus facile pour l'utilisateur qui ne sait pas ce qu'est un docker.

any linux users have experience with Transmission? i figured i'd try it out cause it was pre-installed on Mint. but like. i used qbittorrent on windows before.

Por alguna razón me está fallando Aria2 para descargar torrents, y como es la única cosa fallando y no me quise complicar la vida, simplemente instalé qBittorrent, está en las repos de Alpine :hehe:
Y... ¿como he podido vivir sin esto? me encanta! xd
