Die Idee sollte Kosten sparen, vorwiegend in der Verwaltung und im Polit-Apparat. Doch sie fiel bei einem Volksentscheid durch. Schade eigentlich. Nun wurschteln statt einer eben weiterhin zwei Landesregierungen mit den dazugehörigen Verwaltungen vor sich hin, mit mäßigem Erfolg, wie sich gerade wieder in beiden Ländern besichtigen lässt.
