Book 30 for #piratereadingclub is ‘Flesh & Blood So Cheap: The Triangle Fire and Its Legacy’ by Albert Marrin.

146 people, mostly women, died in a fire which could have been avoided had the company put in fire prevention measures. The fire did lead to all sorts of safety measures & regulations.

Book 29 for #piratereadingclub is ‘Cycle of the Werewolf’ by Stephen King.

Small town has a series of gruesome murders on the nights of full moons. A boy discovers who the werewolf is and is the only one who can stop it.

I love Ngozi's work and this is no exception. Highly recommend this graphic novel, all the feels!

Been on the tbr pile for ages, finally got around to it and it's a beautiful story. Pirate/magical fantasy sapphic romance, touches on a lot of issues of colonialism, race, gender. Overall beautiful story with great characters. Read by the sea if you can!
