I use Snapseed for color, light and other minor scale adjustments. For more creative ones (incl erasing details) I use Photoleap

Walking the field edge.

On my evening stroll. While messing about I took an accidental photo, on iPhone long exposure, of the horizon line - lopsided, fuzzy and, serendipitously, atmospheric. So then, with the phone on the timer, I took various takes of me walking along a field. And blended the two

Last of the One Mile Telescope.

Having a proper scan of the pinhole photo means it’s easier to blend over iPhone images I took at the same time - images through a glass decanter lid, which shatter the dish into a Queen like harmony of interstellar eavesdropping.

Blended using the Photoleap app

I’d be happy to pay a one-off £30 for the old version of PhotoFox without AI (similar to comparable program prices) but it no longer exists. The current emphasis on expensive ghastly AI in PhotoLeap with an *annual* fee is a real turn off. It’s barely useable now. A shadow of its former self.

It’s similar freebie apps, but the mainstay was PhotoFox lite that had 3 layers to play with. It’s gone greedy - the new Photoleap that replaced it has only 2 layers with much reduced functionality wanting a hefty £60 pa to fund unwanted nasty, garish, pointless AI options. (5 star to 1 star).

Also back in the habit of taking iPhone photos, same position as the pinhole, through a prism. Then blending the shattered photo with the pinhole via the Photoleap app. I really like the mess of colour overlaid across the B&W. I should get a scanner for the pinholes and explore this trick properly.
