By the time I actively went back to shooting film, the good old days of oldstock packs of discounted film and expired rolls for peanuts was pretty much already gone. If you let go of that and expect the current pricing as the norm, it’s still fun.

It's one thing if it's just a direct CTD, then it can mostly be blamed on the programmers. Hardware crashes are a whole different animal.
Had to spend my tax refund on a new oldstock AMD Reference RX6950XT when the Gigabyte RX6900XT kept being a turd.

Ordered a reference RX 6950 XT (because it's cheaper to go with new oldstock currently), Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet to fit the die, and a waterblock to go with it from Alphacool.
Never every buy Gigabyte GPUs.
