The people booing the lack of a pass interference are my people, by God. Rooting for football chaos over tedium

and even those are rare enough that you can't get an overabundance of them without abusing the system to the point of tedium

That's normally what you would have to do yeah. Or you could make a bunch of different midi clips in session view that you know you're going to use regularly, and then just overdub while recording audio for it.

Either way you might be in for some tedium.

Doing things is the whole point of being alive and it baffles me how much people are drawn to avoiding doing things. I don't mean tedium or hard labor but art and song and learning and swimming and tripping over your feet and laughing as a friend helps you up; why do you want to not do these things?
Second time in 3 days I’m posting this Vonnegut quote wrt AI.

Genuine question, do you enjoy the creative process? The “tedium” you’re talking about is where you put the work in to take your art from just an idea and breathe life into it. Using AI to take shortcuts on that vital part of the process is robbing your art of human soul

You have an industry professional pointing out how much of a grind the job is, how much of it depends on sheer volume produced. Writing genre fiction- particularly goon genre fiction, isn't so much about passion, it's about the tedium of any job.

Day 3: Worst FF? For me, XV. Decent characters aside, really the entire game was a mess, development hell REALLY killed this one, the combat was abysmal to interact with, the world felt generic, and any emotion I was supposed to feel about Noctis's journey was just wiped away by the tedium of it all

on of the things the Olympics teaches us over and over is that someone who spends 15 hours a day in a gym or slope or swimming pool may be a fine fine athlete but they are boring beyond belief -- every interview is a nightmare of tedium

Spurs fans are in that “it’d be a nice change in the Championship” stage, unaware of the tedium of being everybody’s cup final and, well, just how bleak it all is.

i like the way this guy frames all the "annoying tedium" of the combat systems as serving a narrative purpose, making you FEEL the full hopelessness of the characters' situation in a way that only a video game can. that's something that gets lost in the rereleases which i hadn't thought about before

The crushing tedium
that suffocates
this life mundane
#pales in comparison
to the deep darkness
of the grave

While we are in play
for our time allocated
in this drive through existence
we get to choose
from a very limited menu

Best savor every
Carpe Diem opportunity
dropped on your plate

It sure is, I was surprised too! But even Slater cannot elevate the casual misogyny, racism and general tedium of the script. Lol. What an awful film. 😅

Tedium of professional responsibility melted away, blue eyes sharp as knives catching sight of the familiar blonde man rounding the corner.

Fingers twitched on his glass.

Rufus felt more than saw concealed guards readying their aim, but he rose a hand subtly to halt their trigger fingers.

The “EX-SOILDER” walked down the streets of Midgar with a soft sigh, he’d slowly come to a stop and glance around his surroundings before turning towards the right and began walking to a place to sit down for a mere moment since he
just finished up a client’s job.

many in thrall to high school required reading imagine a lot (as in life's) of unremitting boring tedium in postscarcity but i'm simply built different

It’s not that I am a split subject without desires, by God, I am not that stupid. Instead, it is that I am entirely indifferent to the metonymic chain of signification as such, I only begin to care when it collapses. The rest is pure tedium.

Enough of a whore that I'd attend Melania movie were I given free tickets, $30 for trans. and $250 per tedium (it's playing close by). Can knit while it drones in the background. All paid up-front, obviously. Also obviously, honest opinions given were media stupid enough to ask.

And here’s my very own Westminster apology:

While a lowly clerk at DofE HQ, I sometimes hid in the excellent library to extricate myself from the tedium of mindless bureaucracy elsewhere.

Some may view this as misconduct in public office.

(I was always fully clothed.)

MAGA-aligned military commanders are pressuring enlisted service members to go to the Melania movie and bring their families. Troops at 8 different bases have complained. www.businessinsider.com/us-military-...

Most of those who work to produce AI have always been not ML scientists or engineers but uncredited data associates. Their labour's often fantastically invisible even to their scientist collaborators. The partition of costs (tedium, trauma) & benefits (pay, citations) is gendered & geographical.

Probably been other/earlier signs of it but from that definition of failure tedium, the BS act has been ugh. Wonder how much of it is plain naivety. In any case, file this as case no. 849573261 of preferring straight up honest assholery rather than an apparent nice guy fumbling to the same effect.
