I agree, absolutely! What exactly are they waiting for? And while they're at it, give the fascist loving nondoms something to really cry about. Leveson 2 now!

That’s actually the twitter bio for most nondoms.

Plus, she'd have opened up pork markets where less pork is being sold than before

She'd have turned around *that_is_a_disgrace* to 30% more rat-pube-infested fake cheese being imported from America

And the Institute of Economic Affairs would be thieving everyone's last weevil to placate nondoms.

...and remember.. there are 55 billionaires here in the UK. 73,000 nondoms live in the UK. Nearly 100,000 people earn £250k or more.

These are all tax brackets Labour could have created...

Those things she lists are not 'taxing wealth', they are minor adjustments to tax levels for some luxury consumption and a useful but largely performative removal of the nondom privilege for some rich people, although notably not for the 'fake' nondoms who live here but continue not to pay taxes.

In the last year alone - NI for corporates went up, nondoms were scrapped, capital gains went up, and half a dozen other taxes on the better off were increased or introduced.

The left will still be talking about “the rich not paying their fair share” when the last productive worker leaves the U.K.

Where is the evidence that NonDoms are leaving the country? #wato

But Lab have put up minimum wages, public service wages like Nurses,Teachers etc, increased hospital funding, increasing homes & social housing, planning more infrastructure, growth, investing in green technology, defence contracts for our Britain, made rich pay more on Vat fees,NonDoms, etc., job rights.

Well they said "We aren't doing that anymore loz" to the taxing NonDoms so obviously the next logical step down from taxing the rich is attacking people with disabilities. Because is the eyes of the far right they don't "deserve" the money. They didn't "deserve" the disability either but here we are

seven words, repeated 11 times. A common criticism leveled at the very repetitive "praise songs" some Protestant churches (esp nondoms) use

Real battle is against City, nondoms, 20 million pound club, & the servile Murdoch editors who still take his money knowing News Of The World criminally tapped a murdered girl's phone & even now print swill like this to distract UK & US from fact a 1% annual wealth tax the >20M would pay UK/US debt.

Take nondoms. They acted (albeit only in part).
Is it 'job done'?
Of itself it's an irrelevance. As a signifier of wider intent to tax progressively & stand up to big capital it likely won a few votes. Anyone who did so has every right to be disappointed that this gvt has no such intention

@bylinetimes.bsky.social not guilty but our media is now all about clickbait. The press is largely owned by right wing nondoms with no interest in truth. Radio4 and most broadcast news follow press headlines and values and perpetuate untruths. TV news self censors eg won’t show horrific Gaza images

Thanks for answering, it’s a good list. What about paying for it, raise taxes on the rich?, nondoms and such or… ?

I doubt it’s a fair charge here, but specialist advisers can get things wrong too. I know two nondoms who became deemed dom in 2017 and reviewed their excluded property trusts, to be told - by the Big 4 firm that advised them on their setup - that they were a real problem for US beneficiaries. 1/2

Two wealthy nondoms I know set up “excluded property trusts” on advice from the world’s largest accounting firm.
Which neglected to ask them whether the beneficiaries were US citizens. The trusts had to be wound up because they were toxic for US persons.
Apparently their clients should have asked…

Yes, all the same things were said here – that if we taxed nondoms they would all leave. They didn’t.

All the media owned by RW NonDoms....... 🙄

My point is that a lot of them don’t really live here, they visit annually. Those that actually live here will mainly suck up the consequences.
Though we could get some useful revenue from nondoms with a “mansion tax” - they can move, but their Mayfair houses can’t, and they’re woefully undertaxed
August 16, 2025 at 8:36 AM
Fewer nondoms leave, no really anyone left private schools.....almost like the right wing media is just making stuff up to try and keep things as they are.
August 15, 2025 at 7:50 PM
I tend to trust the FT, but - payroll tax returns? Nondoms with jobs are probably not going to up sticks - it’s their livelihood, but also they have children in schools, wives with social lives here.
What about nondoms so rich they don’t need to work? Have *they* stayed?

Most of these super special rich people Labour pander to are non-doms who’ve bought up all the property.

Good riddance
