Did my first volunteer shift at the Nelson-Atkins Museum today, working the coat check. Since this spot is one of the two last places that visitors will stop at (also the gift shop), I like to ask them what their favorite thing they saw was. The answers were awesome.

If anyone is in KC and wants to see one of my photos on proper display for the first time, I will have a piece in this show at the Vulpes-Bastille gallery in the crossroads.
It's a general theme but you can expect amazing work by amazing people! Please go check it out if you're in town!

There is a fossil teapot at the Nelson Atkins that this was partially inspired by though they look nothing alike 😂 the checkered teapot companion to the fossil one is probably one of my favorite pieces of all time.
