On Saturday, May 25 myself and a great group of volunteers again host #GirlSmarts4Tech at @UWaterloo where we introduce Computer Science using @MITAppInventor to 50 young women in Grades 6&7. Sponsored by @SAP and supported by @wicsuw.

On Saturday, May 25 myself and a great group of volunteers again host #GirlSmarts4Tech at @UWaterloo where we introduce Computer Science using @MITAppInventor to 50 young women in Grades 6&7. Sponsored by @SAP and supported by @wicsuw.
Our third @technovation workshop, held today at @SAP Waterloo, introduced the students to UI design, working with paper prototypes, building and debugging their @MITAppInventor apps, and pitching their ideas. A super day. Thx to the staff of @SAP and @wicsuw for organizing!

Our next @technovation workshop in Waterloo is *tomorrow* at @UWaterloo where students will explore the functionality of @MITAppInventor. We're expecting upwards of 120 students so arrive early to get setup. Proud to be part of a great team from @wicsuw, @Shopify and @SAP.
