Words cannot possibly express the gratitude we have to athletes, colleagues, friends, and family for the outpouring of support we have received since Leslie passed away last Monday, May 25th.
Many in my extended family served in either WW1 or WW2, including my father, but on Remembrance Day I particularly remember my Uncle Ken, terribly wounded on August 1 1944, and Leslie’s Uncle Charlie, my cousin Frank Paulley, and Bernice’s brother Don who did not come home. #LestWeForget

Very pleased and impressed that the North Grenville Curling Centre in Kemptville is fully behind the principles of #TrueSport. And so are Team Lovitt.

Something I've observed over the past few weeks, especially when teams are trying to "carve", or accentuate curl.

I was tremendously honoured to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Builder category from Curling Ontario this past weekend, presented during the Association's AGM in Cobourg, ON.

Many thanks to Ian Tetley and his staff at Oakville Curling for hosting the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard this weekend. While Team Lovitt didn’t qualify for playoffs we had a terrific first event of the season. Best wishes to all of the remaining teams still in the hunt!

Just received this ONOTO Scholar fountain pen from Cult Pens in the UK. Navy with gold accents, its fine nib writes smoothly and beautifully. A new favourite.

Looking forward to testing the new Balance Plus “grey” foam at practice over the next two weeks, now that Team Lovitt has ice at KW Granite and at Oakville.

Just received this lovely Leonardo Momento Magico fountain pen from @laywines.bsky.social in Toronto. Piston filler, inked with Diamine Majestic Blue, my favourite ink. Writes beautifully. The size fits my hand well and I love the ink window on the barrel. Beautiful pen.

Metrolinx should take down their signs promising forthcoming new stations (Grimsby) and better service to Kitchener. It isn’t happening anytime soon. Clearly. @waterloompp.bsky.social

What began with 55 push-ups from The Curling Group’s CEO (and a $1 donation for every rep) has ignited a global curling challenge in support of charity.

Now, the world’s top curlers are dropping down and stepping up — one push-up at a time. 💪

Here at the ALS Canada Walk to End ALS at Toronto’s Ash Bridges Park with Sarah Leung of Team Lovitt today. Really appreciate Sarah being one of the volunteers here today. 💕

Many thanks to friends and family who have donated to ALS Canada in Leslie’s memory this year.

Newly acquired, this Kyoto Elegance Yamanaka fountain pen from Celsius, and sold by Komorebi Stationery. Comes with a Schmidt Iridium fine nib, which interestingly writes much smoother than some of my other pens with Iridium nibs. Beautiful pen and I appreciate the heft of the metal body.

I knew it was bad. I had no idea it was this bad.
Winnipeg dumps billions (and billions and billions) of litres of raw sewage into its rivers. The city says it will take until 2095 to stop.

@jsrutgers.bsky.social dives deep into the city's sewage woes — and what it means for residents

With many thanks to @cultpens.bsky.social I procured this very nice Pelikan Souveran M800 (F) in red and black. Writes beautifully, as one would expect from a Pelikan fountain pen. A new love for writing my correspondence. Inked with Diamine Majestic Blue.
