it was great to finally see Bonnie Devine's From Water to Water: A Way Through the Trees @mcmichaelgallery on the weekend, which incorporates a suite of Huron-Wendat effigy pipes that materialize the gallery's adjacency to the historic Wendat villages of Seed-Barker and Skandatut 🖼️ 🗿 🚬 🌊

My #AYJackson story: Around 1970 I went on a school trip to the #McMichaelGallery. While we were led to the picnic area, Jackson’s cottage was pointed out. I was 7 and fearless, so I sneaked away and knocked on his door. We chatted. I wish I was that fearless now. #CanadianArt
