Think people get hung up on "RES can't yet give 100% annual supply" - it's OK to bank a 95% supply now, and by the time that's done, the tech and econs will have moved on.

Britain is at 55 N latitude (like S Alaska) so if it works up here, then it should be easier anywhere else with year-round PV!
