Hopefully it's a return to form. u/ElderberrySpare6985: Could you give us an example of the wrecker shit? u/Living-Chef-9080: Probably referring to his recent critiques of hasan, which while certainly hyperbolic (I wouldn't call him "practically a zionist"), is rooted in real materialist analysis. Edit: this comment was not me taking hasan's side, I agree that working with the DNC at this point is a massive L u/Kudos2YousGuys: Hasan SHOULD be criticized for trying to work with democrats. His reformist ideas are completely doomed and he's just helping to launder the image of the Democratic party. He's anti-revolutionary and revisionist, and he misinforms his audience by misunderstanding Lenin and Engels when he tries to use theory to support his arguments. Making incremental social changes to try to "reduce harm" on the working class in the US will just increase the harm done to the global south. Democrats are unwilling and unable to stop the march of US imperialism. u/refugee_man: I have issues with Hasan and he should be criticized, but I also go back and forth on this issue. While he obviously could be more radical in many areas, the fact is that the vast majority of US people aren't willing to give things up to better the global south. And even on the left, the idea of working solely for the betterment of the global south isn't going to happen for the majority of people. But keeping people from being swayed to the worst has value. It's just a question of if people are still being funneled left, or they hit a place like Hasan's community and go no further. That said, while I do think Hasan has a point at times, it's hard to ignore that a lot of the more "moderate" stuff he advocates for and a lot of the democratic party collab stuff obviously benefits him, if not m…
