I may have pre-gamed my NY Sheep&Wool trip 🫣🧶. My justification being I didn't see either of these vendors on the vendor list. The green sample is the same Cormo silk blend that I ordered from @hipstrings.bsky.social . I LOVE this green, I need more of it!

2 bags of 4oz hand painted BFL fiber by Three Waters Farm. It is a mix of blues, greens and purple. 2 bags of 4oz Cormo and tussah silk blend fiber from Hipstrings. It is a mix of natural grey and dyed black. An acrylic WPI card and a small sample of green fiber from Hipstrings.

The HipStrings Buoy fiber is ready for plying. I've been slow to return to using a plying ball because previously I did not wind one tight enough, resulting in uneven tension that seemed to get worse as I went along. Let's see how this one goes...

So it turns out there was one more yarn/fiber/embroidery container in a closet that I never went thru and so I found my cotton spindle! Hooray! I still ordered another one from hipstrings, but having 2 is no biggie. And supporting local fiber artists is always worth it

I found some handmade cotton hand carders (they’re like twice as many pins per inch as the wool ones) on Etsy and I’m considering them. And I can’t find my cotton spindle so I might have to get a new one from Hipstrings bc they are so good and cool
