Aside from it, I'm going to join the rehearsal of our string ensemble from the afternoon to the evening.
それはさておき今日は午後から夕方まで弦楽合奏団の練習があるのです。
그건 그렇고, 오늘은 오후부터 저녁까지 현악합주단 연습에 갔다오겠습니다.

It’s a VERY ominous, insidious score for a ski movie. Of all the instruments I might associate with alpine downhill skiing, the harpsichord would be at the bottom, with the tuba and the moonshine jug. Another example of the 1960s harpsichord fixation run amok. #DownhillRacer #tcmparty

1.10 a perfect song for headphones

But there are so many I can get lost in, and feel and see the colors, and taste the music. So here's one.

Concerto for harpsichord and strings

I've never heard of "I'm a Man" by Jobriath (1973), but it starts and ends with a sort of harpsichord sound and is very Bowie-esque. About being a man who likes to be well dressed and is asking to be accepted. "Let me be what I am, an elegant man"

Ok, surprisingly, there is one harpsichord track that I don't hate: Colin Booth's recording of Bach's Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue in D minor

The harpsichord he plays, or the way he plays it, has a much subtler and less grating tone than the others I've come across so far

Now that I'm back into buying albums instead of streaming, and I got a DAP (whose UI is...lackluster), I'm finally doing it.

There were over 300 partial albums in my Magnatune collection. I'm down to 176 so far.

If I have learned one thing, it is that I really do not like harpsichord.

10 memorable NES songs

3. Shadowgate (1989)

Of all the memorable & unsettling music in “Shadowgate” I’ve chosen to highlight the ‘game over’ music. A grim reaper appears, grinning. Eerie harpsichord plays. “It’s a sad thing that your adventures have ended here!”

Winter on two unique instruments. Always loved the Austenian harpsichord but never would've considered the accordion anything but wheezy before now.

they got in a fight during (!) a performance of a Mattheson opera (Handel wouldn't leave the harpsichord, Mattheson supposedly said "IT'S MY OPERA!!!"), then they later pulled their swords and had it out, and Mattheson's (alleged killing) blow was deflected by large ornate button on Handel's coat

It could go with the two-manual harpsichord and the chamber organ that I would also somehow own, in my historical keyboards room

Trump wouldn't know what morality is if it painted itself orange and danced naked on top of a harpsichord, singing "Morality is here again!" [Freely rendered after Black Adder]
