I've seen habitica but never really used it, so I can't compare. I've almost exclusively used pomodoro timers before.
The one thing I wish were different about Focumon is that the notifications don't come to my watch (the best part of one of the other two apps) & seem a little flaky on the phone.

Can't really separate out whether it's just because of the "shiny new something different" factor or the "platform provides extra ways to perceive progress" factor, but doing pomodoros with the Focumon site this week has been a lot more pleasant & productive than I anticipated.

I gave #focusfriend a try and while it is very adorable and I can see myself letting it run in the bg of things to decorate, I have to say the Flomodoro method of #Focumon is still overall more helpful to me.

I like some of the to-do list programs (like Focumon, which I'm still using over a year later, woah) but a lot of those over-engineer it with little systems to manage. If I have to do more to get my things done than just checking off the thing or wrapping up a timer, it's too much overhead.

It has Tasks and To Do list stuff you can organize, but I have all that in Habitica at the moment.
I'm using the app for the focus timer and tagging, which is already better than Forest bc it has a freaking pause button.
Stats could be better though. Lol.

I used Habitica for a while, including back when it was HabitRPG! I liked it when my friends were also using it, but fell off after they did. I've started using Focumon recently, which takes inspiration from Pokemon and has pomodoro-like timers. The timers actually help me out a lot.
