Kodak XX, AKA Eastman Double-X, aka 5222, aka Cinestill BWXX, aka half a dozen other names. It's a movie film and you've seen movies shot on this. There's a developer called D96 that is specifically made for this and it's what I use these days for smoother grain and nice tones. Rodinal 1+50 is great as well if you want sharp and crunchy details. Tri-X 400. This is like the platonic ideal of a medium speed black and white film. FOMA! 400! It's just got a look that is good for rolling around a town on an interesting sky day photographing doors and fences and chimneys etc. Ferrania P30. ISO 80, not 30, which feels wrong. This stuff feels luxury, to me. Since it's a cinema film it plays really well with D96, the dedicated developer for Kodak XX.

The chicken place with the cow on the roof has this rooster at ground level, at least for Christmas. Chroma Click (half frame mode), Ferrania Solaris 400, ECN-2 development.

Joining the flipped-lens gang. I recently got a Ferrania Eura (toy camera from late 1950s) but found the images to be rather bland. So I flipped the lens (actually the whole lens assembly as the lens is cemented in place).

It’s pictures.

Loaded the Chroma Clack with a 12 exposure roll of Ferrania Solaris 400 (expired 2012) in half frame mode and took it out this morning to see if the light leaks I got on Wednesday were a fluke. Film is kind of fogged, but I don’t see light leaks. Will scan when it’s dry.
