The “public charge” exclusion is inherently discriminatory, but of course Trump takes the hatefulness to a new level, denying visas to folks because they are obese or have diabetes.

Imagine two trials. Same inclusion/exclusion. Drugs with different mechanisms. MDs steer patients to different trials based on information not formally assessed in the trials. I can imagine both trials getting better results than would hold in the general population defined by inc/exc.

In Denmark, policies include:

❌ Curbing family reunion - including a blanket ban on family reunion depending on where someone lives in Denmark;
❌ Removing refugee status when a country is deemed 'safe';
❌ Seizing personal valuables, like jewellery.

These are policies of exclusion and harm.

Some people have brought 'British values' to an extreme low by deliberately encouraging the exclusion of some people, because of their skin colour. It is disgusting.

A win would be declaring mandatory blanket exclusion of trans people from gender-aligned services to be unlawful. 👍
That would have direct implications for the Code of Practice, and protect trans people from an outright bathroom ban.
But it’s a high risk case.

Is gravity a rule? How about the Pauli exclusion principle (preventing two objects from occupying the same space)?

Serious possibilities here!

The right hand rule would be interesting, but perhaps niche (applying only to Maradona for using the wrong hand).

Several winners of Cycling UK’s “100 Women” awards rejected their honours after trans women were excluded. Their stand highlights that inclusion in sport is simple, and that allyship, not exclusion, defines true community.
Cyclists have just proven that including trans women isn’t hard
Cycling UK have gravely misjudged the people they claimed to represent.
