"AIPAC is why these senators caved" is not a normal statement. Neither is the general obsession with AIPAC to the exclusion of tens of other lobby groups. The anti-Semitism is in that every lobby tries to portray itself as more powerful than it really is, but with AIPAC it feeds into conspiracism.

The EHRhas sent a new draft Code of Practice which would lead to the exclusion of trans people from public life.
The decision now is up to this government, will they sign a trans bathroom ban in secret?

Like this is broadly my opinion on most people in both the UK and the US. The average person isn't necessarily sympathetic to trans people - certainly not enough to be allies. But they also tend to get annoyed when weirdos obsess over it to the exclusion of "kitchen table" issues.
The majority of US voters, so far as I can tell, flatly do not care about trans people one way or another. They aren't necessarily especially friendly to them, but they clearly find the notion that they're supposed to obsess over them distinctly offputting. (Despite major efforts by the right!)

The U.S. Dept. of Labor workforce campaign looks like it was plucked from a white supremacist mood board circa 1938 Nazi Germany, with blond “heroic” laborers, industrial backdrops & duty slogans. The message of exclusion is clear: women & nonwhite workers need not apply. This is a white mans world.

Poverty is one of the most significant causes of digital exclusion. Systemic approaches to eradicating poverty should be top of a Labour govt's list of priorities, not part of a
plan to deliver a pet project, but if drastic reductions to economic exclusion are on the cards, that's to be welcome

"excluded from the world of informal exchanges" got me. That's the bit we still do really really badly. African scientists unable to get visas to attend conferences, mothers struggling with childcare, class exclusion. If we turn it into a "theft" narrative it's easy to say "oh well I don't do that".

A little family history and important to remember that It wasn't until 1947, after the war ended, that Canada’s Chinese Exclusion Act (1923) was abolished. Until that time, Chinese Canadians were marginalized and not allowed to vote.

I need everyone, regardless of what characters/ships you like, to recognize the point being made here ⬇️ the repeat + overt exclusion of Black characters, especially Black women (even when they are main characters), is intentional + systemic racism in action. Please follow the steps described #arcane
Hi everyone! Whenever Mel is left out of official content, most people often highlight fan creators - which is awesome!
However, the amount Mel has not been included in content since season 2 has ended is becoming intentional and systematic. Please use your voice and email Riot!

The Arcane anniversary collection has gone live with zero content for Mel or Ambessa.
We recommend fans to:
1). reply in the comments asking for them
2). fill out the email support form and ask why two of their major black characters are left out of this anniversary. merch.riotgames.com/en-us/

A complaint: extending ACA/marketplace enhanced premium tax credits would be expensive.
It would cost $35 billion/year to extend marketplace credits.
In contrast the tax exclusion for employer-sponsored health insurance cost $299 billion/year in 2022

not only is it unfair, it indicates that you are ontologically evil and that i should oppose you and only you, to the exclusion of paying attention to any other enemies

that funny flag serves a real purpose. The moon is a mess of overlapping claims and so "exclusion zones" make up the enforced, physical borders.
Vekllei has a particle accelerator on the moon to create magnetic monopoles, so they patrol huge areas around it to keep people out

A measure which at it's heart is about exclusion, discrimination, and perpetuating stigma.

half of it is slavery. the model it all comes from is white men know how to run things, and all mistakes come from the servant class being unable to realize the vision. it's colonialism, it's chattel slavery, it's deskilled labor, it's the auteur. property as exclusion, power as the right to exclude
Once you start thinking of AI as a war on humanity, on human thought, on human inquiry, on human labor, on nuance and critical thinking, it slots in pretty seamlessly with the right wing ideological project, oligarchical political projects, big tech's political projects, etc
