Colour photo in a park setting; a leaf-strewn path emerges from under an oak tree towards a copper beech in its lighter autumnal colours. The path goes round the back of the tree and bends left, disappearing in front of a yellowed beech hedge. The left front section is green grass, cut not too long before. On the right, over a hedge is a brick house; the brick colours suggest a substantial extension has been added at the back, towards us.

Die Alternative wäre für mich das 25mm/2 Zeiss Distagon gewesen. Das kostet aber das dreieinhalbfache und ist auch nicht kleiner. Und so viel besser *kann* die Abbildungsleistung gar nicht sein.
Will sagen: Das Teil macht mich sehr glücklich 😃

Pollarded oak, last autumn. Not easy to see, but there is a crack in the main trunk, 2" wide at the top. I think that's why they pollarded it. Regrowth has been very poor.

An old oak tree that has had its whole crown removed; there are three or so smaller branches left, in this colour image autumnal leaves can be seen. Behind it is a small lake with th=rees from the other side reflected. There are reede beds around the lake and small figures walking on the far side.
