Um, yeah. I had the pleasure of viewing one of my colonoscopies. It was not great. The long term issue is skin & eye itching that gets worse in winter. Mouth ulcers make eating hard, but when you're flaring I guess it doesn't matter.

Got my Covid booster & flu shot yesterday, & the number to organise my shingles vaccination ahead of returning to #biologics Was careful to use my mask & hand sanitiser, so I didn't catch anything.

Here's hoping the return to infusions isn't derailed again.

I’ve started taking my OBI at night right before bed. I got tired of spending a day feeling exhausted and pretty terrible.
Now I do it at night, it does its thing while I’m sleeping and I wake up feeling amazing.

I have several water bottles, which are refilled daily. I also carry at least two with me when I go out. The one I keep in the bathroom is the most important one.

The after effects of taking (emergency) meds to make my hair appointment yesterday started at 4 a.m. this morning. At least I got 6 hours sleep beforehand though, right?

Colitis (inflammation of the colon) can be caused by a number of things such as IBS or food poisoning.
Ulcerative colitis is a form of #InflammatoryBowelDisease.

I've had MRIs in the past before chronic illness struck.

I've also had a colonoscopy w/o sedation or anaesthetic, and it was the best one I've had; painless. Since then, though, I've had strictures form, which means A LOT of pain even with the small scope.

Me! It was working for me, but because of surgeries, I had to stop (only chairs, no beds in the infusion suite). I'm hoping to restart soon.

I'd just had my first maintenance dose when I developed another Crohn's abscess, so I'm not sure if it works for those.
