We identified novel human-biased genes and epigenetic signatures and further validated them using cortical organoids and MPRA data to generate a set of highly confident putative enhancers - paving the way for future functional studies of human brain development.

Using SyMAP, GSAlign, and SyRI, we analyzed genomes of Nelore, Gir (Bos indicus), and Hereford (Bos taurus). Non-syntenic regions harbored immunity genes like VSTM1L, Galectin-9, HDAC5, and POLH, unique to Nelore. 🌟 #ComparativeGenomics 3/10
