#chlorate
Me and my cousin replaced salpeter with potassium chlorate since we read it was a far better oxidicer. Indeed the powder thus created had some serious punch. Obviously we made pipe bombs and only later learned that potassium chlorate apparently has a tendency to spontaneous combustion. 🤔

Taste good on your lips,
The other clears weeds from your gate.

If you add some sulfuric acid into the bottle, wait a while, then seal it... Then wrap it in paper soaked in sodium chlorate (weed killer) left to dry... You don't even need to light it, it will self-ignite when the bottle smashes.

In Minecraft, of course.

Un volume de chlorate de soude,
Un volume de sucre-glace,
Non tassé = brasier ardent,
Tassé = Apocalypse Now.

Potassium Chlorate is nasty stuff when it reacts with sugar. I hate when I have to use it at work.

People have asked me what is in tear gas grenades that make them burn so hot. The mixes vary a lot, but the old US Army M7 grenade (still used and much copies) has potassium chlorate, sugar, magnesium carbonate, cellulose nitrate, and the CS tear gas itself.
