Who’s making distinctions in kind about chatbot psychosis? Isn’t the criticism rather that it’s bad that this technology appears to induce psychosis in people at a rate higher than comparable technologies like traditional search engines?

Argument rejected by the court, which found Open #AI liable for copyright infringement.

I’m honestly not very worried about the tiny fraction of water and power used by data centers, I don’t really think a new kind of search engine is going to make you stupid, and I don’t really understand why chatbot psychosis is different from any other kind of pyschosis.

Appalling, unresponsive, chatbot-heavy enshittified 'customer service' is a **Feature** not a **Bug** for companies of 2025.

Is there a unified boycott list?
