And just like that August is here. Hello August. Weird start to the month, mostly because of work, but that's another story entirely and nothing to do with books, so we shall move on. Didn't do much due to a full on week in the office. Did manage to submit my training draft portfolio off on time and had pretty positive feedback from my Coach so I'll take that.

And there we have it. We have passed the end of the 'week I didn't go to Harrogate' and I survived. I'm not convinced I have come away from t with less books than normal, but hey. Girl needs a way to unwind. Speaking of which, my 'unwind' trick this past week was a trip back up to my happy place, the Northumberland coast.

And another week passes us by. Been really busy at work. Add in a trip to the theatre to see Dear Evan Hansen, attending a gender reveal party, and going to see Six The Musical at the cinema, has made a bit of a dent in my reading progress. I've still managed to complete a couple of books and start a third, but also made the most of the good weather so bookishness has taken a back seat.
