After the train passed the Burnhamthorpe Road crossing in Mississauga, one of the axles on the 33rd car broke off. Three minutes later, the undercarriage of the car left the track. Another 23 cars followed the derailed car and smashed into each other.

I resided on that block for 22 years.
One day I saw a body of a cyclist being hoisted up the big bridge on Burnhamthorpe over the Credit River. They have since raised the railings, but it still scared me when it was windy.
It is a great place to get around by bike, especially if you like trails.

Mullet Creek is where I am talking about, before it crosses under Mississauga Rd. and reappears as a short waterfall, and then flows under Burnhamthorpe, toward the Credit River.

No, I was on a mad dash uphill to grab the sunset. I didn't stop until I got up there. I was already upset that I didn't stay in place the day before when we had this glorious red in the sky, I was impatient. 😆🤙

I was looking for critters on a nearby trail in the fading light instead.
Fire in the sky, from the sunset the day before ... I should've stayed on Burnhamthorpe and caught it all on the city line... I was impatient. The photos on the following day were 'meh' ok to me. I was stewing, I was pissed.
