This is why iD cards haven't been introduced in the UK, which would've stemmed/slowed down the criminal exploitation of migrant boatpeople.

Ich hab als Kind im KH viele vietnamesische Schwestern kennengelernt, die als Boatpeople aus ihrer Heimat geflüchtet sind. Sie wurden zT wüst beschimpft.

Yes how many of their parents or grand parents arrived here as 10 quid tourists from the UK or boarded a boat from Europe after WW2 back then we didn't have too many migrants arriving by air so they were all #BoatPeople who were welcomed with open arms
