The DARMC as designed by Harvard as a map of the Roman and Medieval world (mostly Europe) is, I believe, largely dormant as a DH project now (the DARE continues at a separate center: imperium.ahlfeldt.se), but I still use a ton of the early medieval layers, eg the monasteries. #HGIS arcg.is/1mvnaO0

A few thousand newspapers from SLV geolocated by place of publication/distribution. This includes digitised and non-digitised titles.
Screen capture of a digital basemap of Victoria with markers and cluster markers spread across the state. A number on the custer maker indiciates the total number of markers in that region. The totals range from 3,785 in central Melbourne to a single marker in the Wimmera area.

Day 14: 30 Day Map Challenge - Data: OpenStreetMap

Zoomed-in walkable cores for DC, Amsterdam, Tokyo, and London. I used Overpass to pull OSM footways, pedestrian streets, and steps, styled on top of an ArcGIS dark basemap.
