On 1 October 2021 at 01:00 Manila time, fourteen TV channels (Disney Channel (yes, our beloved channel as we know it), Disney Junior, FOX Movies, FOX Family Movies, FOX Action Movies, FOX Channel, FOX Life, FX, FOX Crime, Nat Geo People, Channel [V], and three FOX Sports channels) and STAR Chinese Movies Legend have all ceased broadcasting in Southeast Asia ENTIRELY in ONE SINGLE DAY for the first time since Disney XD got shut down 9 months ago. This massive shutdown came from a decision from Disney Networks Group APAC in order to fully focus on Disney+/Hotstar.
TWO YEARS LATER, five remaining TV channels (BabyTV, STAR Chinese Channel, STAR Chinese Movies, Nat Geo Channel, and Nat Geo Wild) had also pulled out from broadcast in the same region for the same reason, marking the end of the conglomerate's pay-TV industry in Southeast Asia. Disney XD should be revived in Spanish Latin America, The Netherlands, Middle East, Africa & India along with the brand's debut in Portugal, Romania & Bulgaria. Bringing back DC in Spain & Turkey replacing BabyTV might be the solution to that instead of maintaining it.

The one thing that Disney should focus on retaining the remaining channels for now is to shutdown a brand that is part of the Fox merger which is BabyTV.
