#androidaps
I upgraded my version of AndroidAPS + Android 16 tonight, the firmware for the open source artificial pancreas system I use. It took 2 hours to track down bluetooth issues, and I fried one insulin pump, but I got it all built from source, sideloaded, & running nominally. Feeling very cyberpunk. #T1D

Ľubor Jurena přednáší o open-source projektu AndroidAPS, který v mnoha ohledech překonává komerční řešení, která lidem nemocným cukrovkou doplňují inzulín. A taky jaké problémy musí kvůli uzavřenosti komerčních řešení překonávat (reverse engineering pump, regulace […]

Exciting news! Dana-i insulin pumps are now possible to get in #poland!
They're among the best supported by #androidaps. They're still Fucking Expensive (~16k PLN, about two average monthly salaries before taxes, you pay full price), but they're here!

@mawhrin where first task would be "deep-clean", i.e. remove the repo, then clone it again. Maybe another will be to go into the repo and do the build-and-sign of AndroidAPS apk, once I figure out (it rather, find the blog post) how to do that.

it's not the airport it's an unlocked phone I fucking bought and own and I'd like to run AndroidAPS (signed by me) to keep myself alive, thanks

They're saying they are going to make a special console just for us "hobbyists" and students, which, knowing Google, will suck diseased ass

Trial comparing hybrid closed loop to fully closed loop, using AndroidAPS shows FCL is no worse that running HCL #ADATS25

Guten Morgen ☕️☕️☕️ und schönen Montag liebe #BlueSky-lerInnen! 😎✌️☮️🌞🍀

I do not know if there are any #androidaps #aaps users on Mastodon or not, but if you try to access #autotuneweb , it is currently down due to a software confict after some upgrades on the server.

*sigh* yeah I remember some kind of opinionated people's opinions about toil and how it drives people nuts quite effectively. I think they wrote a book. I forgot what company they worked for. I remember getting an advance copy because my VP wrote a chapter

DID I PIN THE FUCKING GRADLE VERSION???

Sounds like its about to expire soon, I'm unsure to when or how long, or if you can silence them. I use dash pods with androidaps and when that rhythm of beeps comes, by default it will expire in 6 or so hours. It could also mean it has under 20 units left in the pump

I'm hard on it though. I've lots going on monitoring two T1 CGM apps in the background and with AndroidAPS going full time. I watch a lot on YouTube too. My iPhone needed about 3 full charges at home for comparability. 40 mins in the car for a 10% top up is OK for me 🙂

Trials for GVoke/Ogluo, Dexcom G6, the Beta Bionics iLet, and lots of “basic science” stuff over the years.

Also conducted the research that led to Dynamic ISF in AndroidAPS and iAPS/Trio (and still re-analyzing the data to improve the implementations).

I swear I thought my sensor was dodgy last night... I didn't treat any of these from 11 (23) onwards. Went to calibrate it & it's perfect. AAPS has raised my target automatically thankfully but are there any other #hypounawareness things that might help me not loose my awareness? #T1D #DiabetesChat

Language breakdown of the 3 largest open source artificial pancreas loop systems in order of release:

1. JavaScript (OpenAPS / oref0 alg)
2. Kotlin (AndroidAPS, derived from oref0)
3. Swift (LoopKit)

I have used 3 different open source artificial pancreas solutions; OpenAPS, Loop, and AndroidAPS. They must be open-source to thwart the FDA having any jurisdiction on their personal use

They're all so badass that they made the diabetes medical device companies completely change their strategies

thanks to smali-patching, I know a contributing factor to my rage, because the app doesn't show it, but it does make me acknowledge that i understand that my sensor is now warming up and that I don't get readings and alerts (despite "having one" and "needing one"), because this app is lawyerslugged
